Blue Outdoor is a fresh and innovative outdoor media company, focused on outdoor advertising. In September 2006, Blue Outdoor partnered with Greyhound Bus Lines to sell advertising in information centers over 50 terminals across the United States. Greyhound is the nation’s largest provider of bus transportation, serving more than 3,100 destinations with 16,000 daily departures across North America. It has become an American icon, providing safe, enjoyable and affordable travel to 22 million passengers each year.
In October 2006, Blue Outdoor signed a long-term agreement with Pyramid Companies, one of the largest privately held shopping center developers in the northeast, to place advertising in their 15 malls in New York and Massachusetts. The Pyramid Companies own and manage the most successful portfolio of retail-based, tourist, and entertainment destinations in the northeast. Malls in the Pyramid portfolio are the center of commerce in cities throughout New York and Massachusetts including: Albany, Buffalo, Plattsburgh, Poughkeepsie, and Ithaca. Their malls include the Palisades Center, the tenth largest enclosed mall in the country. Blue Outdoor has access to over 600 advertising faces in 15 malls, reaching over 171 million annual visitors.
In 2008, Blue Outdoor partnered with The Blackstone Group in various capacities including: management and development of advertising opportunities throughout their portfolio of properties and consulting on leasing opportunities that have a signage component.
