Cinema advertising is primarily focused on the screen before a film, though it can also include supporting lobby displays. It holds the advantage of delivering an excellent audience. Theatergoers are a captive audience, viewers are not distracted by phones, and ads can be targeted to an audience based on the film being played. The combination of a large screen, a dark room, and surround sound provides an immersive experience.
