Why did DOmedia and NEC develop this partnership?
We have spoken to both buyers and sellers and have found the need for an end to end technology solution for this industry. DOmedia is the industry leading digital out-of-home planning platform for ad agencies and VUKUNET is the standard in digital out-of-home inventory management, ad delivery, proof-of-performance and reporting.
Are DOmedia and NEC Display Solutions merging?
DOmediaTM and NEC's VUKUNET are not merging. The two companies are jointly developing and co-marketing an integrated product called DOmediaTM Powered by VUKUNET.
If I use the DOmedia system, do I have to use VUKUNET?
If you use the DOmedia system, you do not have to use VUKUNET for inventory management or ad delivery. The DOmediaTM Powered by VUKUNET solution is an integrated product that makes it easier for you to manage your DOOH network and connect to the DOmedia Marketplace.
What are the costs associated with DOmediaTM Powered by VUKUNET?
DOmediaTM Powered by VUKUNET creates an easier way to purchase and track DOOH advertising campaigns and lower the operational costs attributed to the planning, buying, trafficking and reporting processes. The costs are the most competitive in the industry. Contact DOmedia or VUKUNET for pricing.
Do I have to pay for canceled orders?
If an Insertion Order, in full or in part, is cancelled by a Buyer before advertising commences on the Listed Media, Media Seller must notify DOmedia within seven (7) business days to request adjustment and DOmedia must receive confirmation of Order Cancellation in writing from the Buyer to void and release corresponding Service Costs, in full or in part (if at all applicable) and as may be determined in good faith by DOmedia, for said Insertion Order. If an Insertion Order, in full or in part, is cancelled by a Buyer after advertising commences on the Listed Media, Media Seller must notify DOmedia within seven (7) business days to request adjustment and DOmedia must receive confirmation of Order Cancellation in writing from the Buyer, and will adjust the Service Cost, in full or in part (as may be applicable) determined in good faith by DOmedia, to reflect any full or partial (partial periods will be considered full for purposes of adjustments) advertising periods completed.
How do I get paid - from the agency, DOmedia or VUKUNET?
Currently the media seller will be paid using the billing system of the agency that placed the media order.
When will I be able to use this new platform?
You can join the DOmediaTM Powered by VUKUNET solution today and benefit from the end-to-end solution. All you need to do is fill out the Network set-up spreadsheet and you will be able to receive RFPs from ad agencies using the platform.
