DOmedia is a technology company with a mission to simplify out-of-home media planning, buying and selling. We are growing and seeking candidates for a full-time, Business and Quality Assurance Analyst on our team located in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Summary

Work on the Product Development team – as a member of our internal technology team to make sure our user experience is the best in the industry! You will be facilitated by our Director of Product Development. We are looking for a problem solver with great attention to detail that can hit deadlines. You will thrive in this environment if you can translate user issues into clear “bugs” that can be quickly squashed by our dev team or by creating new feature business cases and functional specifications. The position requires that you provide on-going support as current applications evolve and new applications are launched.

Role & Responsibility

We want to find someone who is a fast learner, faster thinker and is ambitious in advancing their entrepreneurial career! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create business cases & functional specifications from user feedback
• Review and gain consensus from internal and external users on business cases
• Transform business cases to comprehensive functional specifications to guide development
• Test new functionality & bug fixes as well as routine regression testing
• Create and update automated testing procedures
• Communicate new release information to internal/external users
• Work with developers to deliver releases on-time
• Troubleshooting user problems
• Manage and prioritize bugs that are reported
• Report on system usage and stability

Requirements

College degree in business or computer science, combined with entrepreneurial drive!

• 2-4 years quality assurance, web based application testing or project management exprience
• Very strong Excel skills and familiar with MS Office Applications
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time appropriately in a fast moving environment
• Ability to create wireframes (lucid charts) and detailed functional specifications
• Ability to fill in things that aren’t stated as specific requirements with software industry best practices
• Ability to keep accurate and detailed mental track of changes to system behavior
• Know or willing to learn Selenium
• Know or willing to learn our defect management system (bugs)
• Know or willing to learn basic database queries
• Know or willing to learn how to document user requirements and write functional specifications
• Know or willing to learn how to connect to CRM software
